"Inclusion is not a strategy to help people fit into the systems and structures which exist in our societies; it is about transforming those systems and structures to make it better for everyone."

— Diane Richler

Our Adult Social and Life Skills Groups offer a safe and fun environment to develop new social skills for making and maintaining friendships and learning rules around social situations like initiating conversation, interpersonal dynamics, and dating etiquette. We currently offer our clients multiple programs focused on topics such as interpersonal relationship development and life skills management.

PEERS Program:
During this 16 week course each PEERS (Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills) group will meet weekly and focus on different social skills. Each session will have 3 instructors present in the room to ensure all participants are well supported. As part of the curriculum, participants will be assigned a social coach for supporting personal growth inside and outside of the group within their natural environment. After completion of the program learners will walk away with the tools they need to engage in social interactions with others across a number of dynamics and situations.

Example Areas:

The goal of the 10-week program is to allow clients to increase their level of independence while attempting to live as fulfilling a life as possible.
